Joan (Adams) Kaczmarcyzk

    Joan Kaczmarcyzk, 74, of Pottsville, passed away early Tuesday morning at ManorCare, Pottsville.

     Born in Pottsville she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Dixon Adams.

     She was educated in the Pottsville schools and was employed as an LPN having worked at the former Pottsville Hospital for many years. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, going to casinos and playing Nintendo with her grandchildren.  

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Robert Adams in 2016.     

 She is survived by her husband Joseph, Pottsville; 4 daughters, Julianne (Joe Doyle) Barket, Orwigsburg, Joan (Jed) Schultz, Gilberton, Edna Shay, Pottsville and Kathy (Bob) Olenick, Forestville; 2 sons, Nicholas and Norman Barket both of Pottsville; 10 grandchildren, Jared, Aaron and Art Schultz, Jody Staller, Jessica Morgan (Shaun), Ryan and Kevin Olenick, Bob, Mike and Dana Davis; 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Joseph Adams, New Jersey and Charles Adams, Connecticut; nieces and nephews and her fur baby BeBe.

     Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville.
