Joann M. (Terleckas) Petravage

Joann M. Petravage, 62, of West West Terrace, was called home to the Lord Tuesday night at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown.

   Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Orlosky Terleckas.

   She was a 1972 graduate of Pottsville High School. She was a patient transport assistant with the Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagle and Penn State Nittany Lion football fan. She also enjoyed trips to the New York State Wineries. 

    She is survived by her husband of 18 years, C. Barry Petravage; 2 daughters, Janelle Richmond and her husband Scott, Harrisburg and Nicole Messier and her husband Jake, Worcester, Mass.; a brother David Terleckas and his wife Ann, Pottsville and 5 grandchildren, Sabrina and Hanna Richmond and Indiana, Haley and Jack Messier.   

         Relatives and friends may call at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville on Tuesday evening from 7PM to 9PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday morning in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 539 Sunbury St., Minersville. Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis will officiate. Internment will be in St Vincent’s #2 Cemetery, Minersville. The family would prefer remembrances of Joann in the form of contributions to the Hillside SPCA, P.O. Box 233, 51 SPCA Road, Pottsville, Pa. 17901.  Contributions will also be accepted at the funeral home.
