Alice T. (Dunlap) Poslosky

Alice Poslosky, 89, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Minersville, PA passed away September 22, 2017 at home, surrounded by her family.

      Born April 3, 1928 in Branchdale, PA, she was predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Dunlap; two brothers William and John and three sisters Margaret Dunlap, Ethel Lucas and Mary Birch.

     Alice was a member of St Matthew Parish (formerly St Stanislaus) where she was a member of the Married Ladies Sodality where she helped with bake sales, school parties and the annual polish picnic. She was also a member of the Branchdale Ladies Booster club and enjoyed many socials and trips to Atlantic City.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and favorite pets. She liked watching old movies, the occasional cheeseburger, cooking for her family and sewing. She and Stan loved to go polka dancing and they did a great deal of traveling together after retirement.

     Alice will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 67 years, Stan and her children, Carol, Bob, Diane (with whom she resided),  Mark (Cathy), and Mary Jane (Greg)Malandrucco.  Alice will be fondly remembered by her grandson, Sam Malandrucco, and by her sister, Dorothy (Donald) Deaven. Alice will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family (Tony, Gina and Angie), dear friends and caregivers.

    Relatives and friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, 139 Spruce St., Minersville Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30  in St. Matthew the Evangelist Church. Rev. Leo J. Maletz will officiate. Interment will be in St Stanislaus #2 Cemetery, Minersville.
