Kurt W. Schock

Kurt W. Schock, 69, of Minersville, passed away Sunday morning at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

     Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of Wilman and Margaret Schock.

   Kurt was a graduate of Tamaqua High School. He was of the Lutheran Faith.

He was retired from the Hamburg Steel Foundry where he was a core maker.

   He is survived by 2 sons, Kurt Shock Jr., Minersville and Chris Schock, Kentucky and 2 granddaughters Alea and Alyssa.

   Funeral Services will be held on Monday  at 10:30AM at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday morning from 8AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
