Paul O. Querengasser, 83, of Wayne Twp., passed away Thursday evening at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 27, 1935 to Robert R. and Thelma M. (Roskop) Querengasser. He was a 1953 graduate of Pottsville High School. He was a contract estimator in the steel shelving industry where his job took him to Methuen, MA. And Melbourne , Fl. He retired in 1998. He was a member of the Pottsville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Pottsville. Paul loved talking about the Bible and spent may hours in ministry. He was a volunteer at SCI Frackville where he taught Bible classes for 18 years. He was their “Volunteer of the Year” twice.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Patricia Lynne Jordan. They were married on May 25, 1968; a son Jared and his wife Shona, Lake Wynonah and their children Natalie, Cullen and Evan; 2 daughters, Susan Smith and her husband Lurue, Ozark, Ala. And Liesl Male and her husband Stephen, Gilbert, Az.; 2 sisters, Thelma Good, Elizabethville and Janet Steinmetz and her husband Carl, Schuylkill Haven; his best friend “Harley” and nieces and nephews.
