Catherine A. Zagalak

Catherine A. Zagalak, “Dolly” or “Cat” 82, formerly of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Born in Buck Run, she was the daughter of the late Stanley C. and Mary E. (Maliniak) Zagalak.   

She was a graduate of the former Cass Twp. High School and a graduate of the Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing and the Pottsville Hospital School of Anesthesia. She was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Minersville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her brother Stanley J. Zagalak.

She is survived by her brother William and his wife Rita Zagalak, her nephew Stanley F. Zagalak and his wife Debra and other nieces and nephews. 

Private Funeral services and interment in St. Stanislaus #2 Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions to a charity of your choice. Catherine was a strong animal advocate.
