Celestine J. Ann

    Celestine J. Ann, 90, formerly of Heckscherville, passed away Friday morning at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

    Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Ellen Craney Heffron.

    She was educated in the Heckscherville school and was a graduate of the former Cass Twp. High School. She worked as a Nurse’s Aid in the local  Health Care industry. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church of Holy Family Parish, Minersville. 

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

    She is survived by her sister, Marie Tokarchek, Forestville and nieces and nephews.

    Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
