Clare (O'Boyle) Wagner

It is with loving memories and broken hearts we announce the passing of Clare (O’Boyle) Wagner to her Heavenly Father on March 13, 2023.
It was so heartbreaking watching this small but feisty woman slowly lose her battle with a tragic disease called Alzheimer’s.
Clare will forever be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her love of dancing, baking and homemade lunches every Thursday for her eldest grandson Joe in her kitchen before her decline.
Born in Cass Twp., August 12, 1926 to the late William and Loretta (Purcell) O’Boyle, she was one of seven children and recently celebrated her 96th birthday.
A graduate of the former Cass Township High School, she was employed at Fort Indiantown Gap until her marriage and starting a family. She was a member of Holy Family Parish of Minersville and the former St. Vincent Roman Catholic Church.
Clare was preceded in death by her husband John Wagner in 1995; Brothers Raymond, Michael, William, and Lawrence O’Boyle; Sisters Betty and Winifred.
Surviving are a daughter Edith Chipriano and her husband Joseph of Pottsville; Son John Wagner and his wife Linda of Pottsville; Grandchildren Dr. Joseph Chipriano and his wife Tammy; Jeffrey Chipriano and his wife Nancy; John Wagner and his companion Gabrielle; Justin Wagner and his wife Lauren; Great Grandchildren Cecilia, Sophia, Gianna, Olivia and Joey Chipriano; Roman and Aubrey Chipriano; John and Harriet Wagner; a brother Robert O’Boyle; Nieces and Nephews. She idolized her four grandsons and 9 great grandchildren.
