Evelyn “Eve” G. Brilla, 85, Marlin, passed away early Wednesday morning at her home with her family at her side.
Born in Ashton Keynes, England, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Beatrice Bennett.
Eve was a dedicated housewife who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville and was a member of the Schuylkill County International Club.
In addition to her parents and her brother David, Eve was also preceded in death by her husband Tony in 2006.
Eve is survived by a daughter, Sharon Smith and her husband Wayne, Marlin; a son Stephen Brilla and his wife Nancy, Forest Hills; 3 grandchildren, Lauren DelValle and her husband Tanner, Zachary Smith and his wife Katie and Jared Smith and his wife Grace; 7 great grandchildren, Maverick, Reagan, Norah, Camden, Van, Chase and Harper; nieces and nephews. Eve is also survived by a sister Janice Allen and a brother Royston Bennett, Ashton Keynes, England.
The family would like to thank her caregivers from Bayada and Hospice of Central Pennsylvania. Also, the family would like to give a special thanks to Angie for all you did for our Mom.
Requiem Divine Liturgy will be at 11AM Monday in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 415 Front St, Minersville. Reverend Mark Fesniak will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the Church on Monday morning from 10AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Saint Nicholas School, Minersville. All attendees are expected to follow current CDC COVID-19 guidance regarding social distancing and wearing masks.
Interment will be in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Llewellyn.
