Frank A. Tokarick, 61, of Primrose, passed away Wednesday morning at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Mary Polinsky Tokarick and the late Frank Tokarick.
Frank was a 1978 graduate of Minersville Area High School. He was part of the Ammo Troop while serving in the U.S. Air Force and served 20 years and is a retired veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He worked at Lowes Distribution Center RDC961 for the past 22 years and was an Operations Manager. He was a member of St Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank and a step daughter Katrina.
He is survived by his mother Mary, at home; 2 daughters, Patrice Tokarick, at home and Nicole Tokarick Harmon, a U. S. Marine Corp Veteran , Minersville; a son Craig Tokarick, South Dakota; 7 grandchildren, Austin Hendricks, Brandon Adams, Emily Harmon, Abby Smith, Tyler Tokarick, Jacob Tokarick and Jaden Tokarick; a brother Michael Tokarick, Gordon; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Davis and her husband Marvin, Pottsville and Debra Kramer, Cressona; a former wife Sandy Komives, Minersville; 2 nieces, and his favorite friend, his dog, “Ammo”.
Requiem Divine Liturgy will be at 11AM Monday in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 415 Front St, Minersville. Rev. Mark Fesniak will officiate. Relatives and Friends may call at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville on Monday morning from 8AM to 10:30 AM..
Internment with Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. The family would prefer remembrances of Frank be in the form of contributions to either Tunnels To Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516. Contributions will also be accepted at the funeral home.
