Joyce M. Holohan

Joyce M. Holohan, 87, of Seltzer, passed away Thursday March 9, 2023 at Lehigh Valley-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born November 13, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Verna (Kryscio) Polinsky. Joyce attended St. Stanislaus Parochial school and Minersville Area High School. She was a member of Holy Family Parish of Minersville and the former St. Stanislaus R.C. Church.

She worked as a Seamstress at Van Heusen and later retired as a Cook from the Schuylkill IU #29.

Joyce enjoyed cooking Polish dishes for her family, dining out with her friends and playing cards at the Minersville Fish & Game Association.

She was preceded in death by her first husband John Lazovi; Second husband Edward Holohan; Infant child Craig Mihcael Holohan.

Surviving are a Brother Albert M. Polinsky and his wife Patricia of Abington, PA; Niece Laura B. Polinsky and her husband Kyle Godwin of Jacksonville Beach, FL; Nephew Paul M Polinsky and his wife Kimberly of Philadelphia; Great Niece Logan and Great Nephew Lucas of Philadelphia.

Following Joyce’s wishes, funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa P.O.
