After a long and full life, our dear mother, Mary Andrescavage, passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 95 at her home in Orlando, Florida.
Mary was the daughter of late Samuel and Louise McCloskey Klem, and she was raised in Minersville.
Prior to retiring, she was a registered nurse at the former Good Samaritan Hospital in Pottsville. After retiring, Mary relocated to Orlando, Florida where she fully enjoyed her retirement years with her many friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Michael and by her son, David. Mary was the last member of her immediate family. Preceding her in death were her sisters, Regina Vuksta, Louise Daskus, and Catherine Klem, and her brother, Joseph Klem.
Surviving are her daughter, Louise Andrescavage, Orlando, Florida; her son Michael Andrescavage, Minersville; her son Edward Andrescavage and his wife Patricia, Royersford; her daughter Mary Jo Nabholz and her husband John, Pottsville. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Kelsi Andrescavage, Ali Andrescavage, Gabrielle Baker (David), and Eli Nabholz.
In accordance with Mary’s wishes, her funeral services will be private. Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville, will assist the family in fulfilling Mary’s wishes.
