Mary P. Tokarick

    Mary P. Tokarick, 93, of Primrose passed away late Tuesday afternoon at the Green Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

    Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Stoppi Polinsky.  She attended Cass Twp High School. She was a  devout member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville. She was a retired seamstress in the local garment industry and was a member of ILGWU.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Tokarick;  a son Frank A. Tokarick; 6 sisters, Lucy Polinsky, Helen Kowal, Anna Pellish, Stella Musick, Sophie Stock and Irene Sternick; also 6 brothers, John Polinsky, Theodore Polinsky, Nicholas Polinsky, George Polinsky, Michael Polinsky and Peter Polinsky.

   Mary is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Ann Davis and her husband Marvin, Pottsville, and Debra Kramer, Cressona; a son Michael Tokarick, Gordon; 4 grandchildren, Patrice Tokarick, Nicole Tokarick Harmon, Kristina Tibbetts and Maria Kramer; 6 great grandchildren, Austin Hendricks, Brandon Adams, Emily Harmon, Abbee Smith, Reid Tibbetts and Weston Tibbetts; nieces and nephews.    

    Requiem Divine Liturgy will be at 11AM Saturday in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 415 Front St, Minersville Relative and friends can call at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville on Saturday morning from 7AM to 10:30 AM. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Llewellyn. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer remembrances of Mary be in the form of contributions to the St. Nicholas Church Memorial Fund.  Contributions will be accepted at the Funeral Home.
