Michael Scribbick Sr. Obituary

Michael Jerome  Scribbick, 82, of Heckchersville, passed away Tuesday evening at his home.

   Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy Conville Scribbick.

   He attended St. Patrick’s Grade School, Pottsville and was a graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Jerrold Electronics and Satellite Communication School. He was a retired TV technician with COMCAST. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, Minersville and was a member of the Minersville American Legion Post 544.  He was a U.S. Army veteran. While on active duty he attended the Ft. Monmouth Signal School and had advance signal training at Ft. Huachuca, Az.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Scribbick.

    Michael was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, the former Angelita Rivera; 2 sons, Mick Scribbick Jr. and his wife Connie, Minersville and Mark Scribbick and his wife Lori, Pottsville; 2 daughters, Marcella Cazonie and her husband Joseph, Minersville and Michele Scribbick and her companion Eric Zigmont, Minersville; grandchildren and great grandchildren; 5 sisters, Suzanne Scribbick, Sister Loretta Dolores, Germaine Scribbick, Marguerite Shoemaker and Bernadette Nahas; nieces and nephew.    

       A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday in St. Michael’s Church of Holy Family Parish, 539 Sunbury St., Minersville. Interment with Military Honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa. Arrangements are by the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville.
