Nicole Ann (Hedemann) Melusky, 50, of Pottsville passed away Tuesday March 14, 2023.
Born in Pottsville on October 31, 1972, she was a daughter of the late Allen Hedemann Sr. and Suzanne (Lendini) Hedemann.
Nikki attended Empire Beauty School and owned and operated her own salon, the Uptowne Hair Gallery in Pottsville.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
She was preceded in death by a brother William Hedemann.
Surviving are her husband Rob Melusky; a son Dan Hedemann and his wife Amy of Pottsville; 3 daughters Suzanne Hedemann of Llewellyn, Alexi Plachko of Pottsville and Julia Plachko of Pottsville; 2 brothers Anthony Hedemann of Pottsville and Allen Hedemann Jr. of Pottsville; a sister Allison Wollyung of Llewellyn; grandchildren Chase Shappell, Olivia Hrenyo, Sophie Hedemann and Gary Seltzer III; nieces, nephews and cousins. Nikki loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday March 22, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic 913 Mahantongo St. Pottsville, PA 17901. Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pottsville Area High School Athletic Department 16th St. & Elk Ave, Pottsville, as she was a devoted supporter through her family’s many participations. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. The Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville, is in charge of arrangements.
