Stephen Miller, 94, of Minersville passed away Thursday, March 30, 20203 at LVHN- Schuylkill.
Born December 25, 1928 in Mt. Laffee, PA he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Zennuch) Miller.
Stephen was a graduate of Cass Township High School, after which he went on to serve in the US Navy as both a WWII and Korean War Veteran. He retired as a Mechanic from PennDot, Schuylkill Haven in 1990.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville
The Navy Club; independence hose Company and Mountain Valley Senior Golf Group. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and golf for many years after retirement. His last enjoyment was taking trips to the casino with his wife.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Andrew, George, Mickey, John and sisters Anna and Mary.
Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Catherine, children: Stephen, Jr. and wife Cynthia, Plano TX; daughter Maryanne and husband Bob Marshall, Minersville; son Robert, Orwigsburg; grandchildren Brandon, Jordon and Vaughn Marshall; Allison McLean and Great grandchildren Jocelyn, Tyson and Alexa.
A Requiem Divine Liturgy shall be celebrated 12:00 PM, Thursday April 6, 2023 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Minersville. All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation at the church from 11:00 AM to the time of Liturgy. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made to the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church.
Burial with Military Honors will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetey, Annville, PA.
