Vincent Petkaitis, 95, formerly of Primrose, passed away Tuesday evening at Providence Place, Pottsville.
He was born in Lithuania and attended school there. He was a retired tailor who worked for 60 years at Bohared’s Clothing Store, Pottsville. He was a member off the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Minersville and was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Church, Minersville.
He was preceded in death by his wife the former Vera Roscoe and a brother Albin Petkaitis.
He is survived by a stepson Al Boris and his wife Diane, Pottsville; a stepdaughter, Brenda Brennan and her husband William, Lake Frederik, Va.; cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville. Rev. Leo J. Maletz will officiate. Relative and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 8AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Minersville.
